What an honor to be this beautiful family’s newborn photographer for their sweetbaby Leah, who entered the world only 7 days before this photo session! She was so sweet and sleepy, instantly falling asleep to assure those cute curly poses that so many moms cherish for years to come! We were able to use beautiful newborn headbands and soft wraps, as well as cuddly furs that were great for different poses and backgrounds for her newborn images. The perfect newborn photography session is achieved when the babies are sleepy and very young- within the first 10 days of life to achieve these curly, soft poses for their pictures. Sweet baby Leah was seven days old and slept peacefully throughout her session – what a gem!

Using different props such as blankets, floral headbands, and knit wraps are a great way to add diversity to your newborn images. Sweet Leah had the most gorgeous skin, and we were able to use several different headbands and wraps of varying shades of purple, pink, and gold to achieve these beautiful, warm tones.

One of my favorite newborn images to capture are the tine details – eyelashes, wrinkled feet, and those sweet back rolls! They truly lend personality and high light your newborn’s unique characteristics to each precious image.

With each newborn session, we use props as well to add some variety to your newborn images. One of my favorite props is this wicker basket, that we wrap up tight with soft furs of beautiful colors, to help comfort and snuggle your baby as we continue your newborn session. We are able to achieve various styles and angles with each of our props as your sweet baby continues to sleep and snuggle!

Sweet newborn’s smiling is one of my favorite images to capture! There is nothing better or more glorious than your sweet baby awarding you with that sweet smile!
