Traverse City Michigan is often a haven of beauty and peace, one of the many reasons why engagement and destination wedding photography is such a pleasure here-I get the pleasure of meeting couples in the most beautiful venue on earth, in the most important moments of their lives. Thus is how I met Kim and Todd, a gorgeous couple traveling to my small Northern Michigan oasis, for their engagement photos. They were extraordinarily easy to photograph, and not just because Kim is a natural beauty by all accounts, but their easy laughter, they flirty jibes, and overall loving embrace towards each other was beyond ethereal. In essence, they simply defined what most people dream about finding their whole lives-genuine love. We started out at Todd’s family cabin on a local Traverse City lake, then took a small adventure into the blooming Cherry Orchards, and ended at downtown’s Open Space to catch the beautiful sunset.
