If I could have done a jig as I walked away from this wedding at the end of the day, I would have (ok ok ok fine, so maybe I did do a little step and a hop in public.) But I was so freakin jazzed after spending the day with Emily and Chris, that I couldn’t help but smile for my entire drive home!! Have you ever met those people in life, that simply radiate joy? You leave them after spending some time together, and your shoulders feel lighter, weight has been uplifted and the world looks just a bit more beautiful?? Well, that’s exactly what I experienced throughout the day, as I was able to interact with their friends and family. Plus, I mean, any couple that combines a girl who rocks Graphic Design (my major) and a groom that is a marketing entrepreneur (my second major) you know that we were gong to have a blast!!!! We met over a year ago for their engagement photography session in Traverse City, and from that moment on, I started counting down the days until their wedding at Lincoln Hills Golf Club!

I tried thinking about my favorite moment of the day, and I can’t narrow it down to one, so of course, that means I get to share two!! My first?? Emily. Simply any moment I was with Emily, made my smile. Because this girl, has THE BEST SMILE EVER!!! This smile is infectious! It’s gorgeous!! This girl laughs more than anyone I’ve ever met, and her joy is beyond amazing!!!!

So my second favorite moment? The very end. Chris & Emily stole away from their reception to go to the beach, where the sand kissed our toes, the sun dipped below the horizon, and we were able to take a few moments to rejoice and be at peace, knowing that this day, was a gift from God!!!

Emily & Chris – keep shining. Seriously, never change. You both are a gift to this world. I truly believe that if people laughed and expressed joy, even half as much as you do right now, the world would be a more infinitely better place. We all need more love in our lives, and you two are such an inspiration to me!! So thank you, for being exactly who you are!!!!
