I walked into Hiliary and Kevin’s wedding suite at Grand Traverse Resort and was instantly met with peace and tranquility (I mention this because this NEVER happens haha!) Baby Cole (cutest ring bearer ever by the way, stay tuned to check out the pictures of him coming down the aisle!) was peacefully sleeping. The ladies were at the spa getting ready. And groom Kevin was all smiles, joy, and pride as he finished putting on his tux before traversing to the First Look. It was such an amazing start to their summer beach wedding at the resort. We stared out at the stunning views of the rolling hillside, as Hiliary put on her delicate lace dress and delicate cream heels. Her mom and sister helped button the back and tie the laces, before shared a parting glass of champagne to celebrate before their walk down the aisle! I couldn’t imagine anyone looking more beautiful than Hiliary, as she descended the path, having finished getting ready with her lovely ladies, to go see Kevin for the first time. His black tux shone in the sunshine, but the moment he turned around, everything became still. The wind stopped. Time moved slowly. Noises and car sounds dropped to nothing. Because in this very instant, Kevin was able to see his bride for the first time and guys, it was magical!!!! As future husband and wife, they were able to take a few moments to appreciate the joy of this day, before being joined by their son Cole (in a bow tie, I mean – how cute is that!) Once we reached the beach for their ceremony, we were able to slip quietly into the background, as we watched history unfold before us. Hiliary and Clinton (uh, I mean, Kevin…sorry inside joke!) said their vows and were quickly drowned out by cheering from the crowd as they were pronounced husband and wife!!!! I couldn’t be happier for these two, as they enjoyed a fantastic cocktail hour overlooking Lake Michigan with their destination guests! Then it was on to the reception, where they had the best dancing skills I’ve ever seen. Seriously, it was a straight four hours of dancing, especially with all of the kids ruling the dance floor!!! It was seriously so much freakin fun, words are falling short, even as I write this! Hiliary & Kevin – thank you for being so kind throughout your entire day! I can’t tell you how grateful I am to have met you and your family!!!
