Destination weddings in Northern Michigan so often follow the traditional beach, lake, sand dunes them – but have you ever considered it a premiere wedding venue for a fairy princess wedding, complete with 15 different wood nymphs (bridesmaids) 3 fairies with wings and 4-foot tall paper mache flowers, and golden glitter that could put Madonna to shame. Hidden on a small trail that could only fit a deer or two through a half-mile trek in the woods, this small wedding was absolutely magnificent in all its splendor! I had an absolute blast ogling the flowers, glass bubbles hung delicately from each tree, and a plethora of multi-colored feathers and ribbons that made this an absolute Mecca for any wedding photographer in northern Michigan (hint hint me) that loves DIY, vintage, fairy inspired wedding decor! Thanks Daina and John, you guys are absolutely amazing (even with your 15 wood nymphs/ bridesmaids haha!)
