Alicia and Jamen knew they wanted a small, outdoor wedding in beautiful Traverse City Michigan. Their destination wedding in northern Michigan was simple and elegant, first starting out at the Glensheen Mansion downtown, where we were able to capture some vintage, historical themed wedding photos that perfectly fit their laid-back and relaxed personalities. We then hopped in the car and traveled down Old Mission Peninsula to stop at their ceremony location at the lighthouse station on Lake Michigan, where we met with their family and friends for their quaint ceremony.
My favorite moment of the day was after the ceremony, when you would clearly see the excitement from both Alicia and Jamen, knowing that they had finally tied the knot, and were now, but ready to celebrate! We ended this perfect day with some beautiful wedding photography down at the beach, and at the marina in Traverse City, to accent their love of spending time together at the beach.
