This perfect intimate wedding of Felicia and Ian took place on the gorgeous beaches of Northern Michigan at the Homestead. Felicia took on the challenge of a DIY wedding, where she beautifully created her own floral bouquet and wedding decor. But the real beauty to see was the love and laughter that Ian and Felicia shared with one another on this very special day. It was clear to see this love that these two shared by the way Ian wold smile at Felicia, a smile that was reserved only for when he look at her. And of course by the tears of joy Felicia shed as she stood across from her best friend and love of her life at the alter. The day couldn’t have been any better as Northern Michigan gave us blue skies, gorgeous fields of wild flowers, golden light and an incredible sunset on the beach to finish.

This first look says it all. Ian’s face was full of joy and love as he saw his radiant and beautiful bride before him.

It was all giggles and laughs, as this pair of best friends could not be parted. They both radiated so much joy, that it was so easy to capture these amazing and true moments of their day. ,

The blending of the sands, jars and table along with the stunning floral arrangements were all done by Felicia. It was the perfect DIY decor for this beach wedding.

Even if they tried, they couldn’t have been any more adorable. So many touching and intimate moments shared, it was hard to hold back the tears.

Finally, united as one on the vibrate blue waters of Lake Michigan.

As photographers, we search for that laughter and joy in our couples. These two had no problems with that, as the entire day was full of laughter and giggles together.

The most radiant golden light cascaded through the trees and this happy pair went to Port Oneida for some gorgeous portraits.

Nothing but smiles, as Felicia and Ian played in the wild flowers that conveniently matched perfectly with Felicia’s stunning floral bouquet!

The long green grass fields of Northern Michigan, was yet another beautiful place for some amazing photography. But the most radiant part of this excursion, was the happiness that radiated from these two.

What a perfect picture with the golden sun connecting the happy couple as they blissfully starred into each others eyes.

The sunset portion of their day was the most look forward to part, and  lucky for them, they couldn’t have asked for a better one.
