use a primer, everywhere!
Make sure you cleanse and really moisturize the skin before you start applying your makeup. Be sure to start using the moisturizer at least 2-3 weeks before the start of your wedding, to give your skin time to adjust (and to make sure you do not get a reaction or red skin.) Then, after you moisturize and before you put on your foundation (recommend a light powder that you can tap out any extra dust before lightly applying,) there’s a really important step — primer. Primer is extremely important, but precarious to apply correctly so that the camera does not pick up on the "cakey" texture of the primer. The best idea is to use a primer that is made to go exactly with the brand of your foundation. Best products - Sheer Minerals (can be found at Bed Bath & Beyond.)
Primer goes everywhere, even on your eyelids. Primer will actually make you eyeshadow stay in tact longer, so that you do not get those creases in the eyelids after a few hours. Also make sure to apply a light amount beneath the lower eyelids so that when you start to sweat off your makeup during the day, it will not gather beneath your eyes and make you appear tired. It will also help contain any sweat run-offs!
EXTRA TIP: Skip the traditional makeup and get spray-on foundation from your makeup artist for extra coverage!
