One of the most beautiful wedding venues in northern Michigan is by far, the gorgeous Mackinac Island, overlooking the shores of two great lakes, and providing ethereal landscapes that make for the most gorgeous wedding pictures! Amanda and Zane were calm, relaxed, and simply excited to finally say their “I-do’s” after dating for several years. Having met overseas, their wedding was a celebration of Amanda’s native Michigan home, with his Dutch roots combined in both the decor, and the ceremony traditions. And of course, no Mackinac Island wedding could be complete with the romantic horse and carriage ride around the island, viewing the stunning sights of the lake, and posing for romantic pictures out on the bluffs. Their day was finished with a ferry boat ride for the gorgeous sunset in front of the Mackinac Bridge, before returning to the island for some merriment and dancing. What an amazing day for a truly splendid couple!
