Wedding photographers love the Elberta Lifesaving station in Frankfort Michigan because it offers stunning views of Lake Michigan for beach wedding photos, and it has a rustic elegant style to the building, which lends well to the top wedding trends of this summer!

Alyse and Craig were summer vacationers in the area for several years, before they decided to have their destination Michigan wedding in Frankfort. Their love of the historical style of the building, coupled with the gorgeous sand dunes and lake sunsets, was a priority for their wedding photos. Alyse even bought a second dress for the day, so that we could travel down the sand dunes for their sunset beach wedding photos.

My favorite moment of the day was the sunset. Alyse and Craig were obviously so in love, and at that point in the day, didn’t have a care in the world, than to be in each other’s arms, having a great time and a romantic wedding reception together.
