The Princess Bride is one of my all time favorite movies!!! Every since I was a little girl, I could quote those lines backward and forward and for years, I dreamed of my own princess wedding (I gave up my dreams of being called Princess Buttercup long ago, so it goes without saying that I at least, needed an awesome love story to make up for that loss!!) So when I met LuxLight Bride Meri and her adorable future hubby Ben, I knew that she and I would be fast friends…after all, we princesses need to stick together. Little did I know that Meri was also planning her perfect princess wedding, and this year I was so honored to be apart of it!!

Her castle was the illustrious Grand Traverse Resort, where we met on top of the tower amongst her glamour, jeweled crown, and sparkling ballgown dress from The Wedding Shoppe. Everything was glistening, sparkling, and glowing…but every detail and decor piece was trumped by Meri’s smile, as she adorned her wedding dress and left the resort to go greet Ben for their First Look!! And as if this moment couldn’t get any more romantic, they left for their ceremony together in a horse and carriage, decorated like Cinderella’s princess carriage to meet her true love!!!! We were all in awe as we followed and met them for their beach wedding vows at the Beach Club, where eyes started to glisten with more than just a few tears. And before we knew it, we were swept off to the reception, where they shared a ballroom dance as a surprise, hilarious toasts by their besties, and a sparkling decor theme that left my eyes seeing spots from all of the glam!!!

To the Bride & Groom: From the moment we met over a year ago for your engagement session, I knew that your wedding would be one for the books and truly, it blew any princess love story out of the water!!! There is no princess more beautiful than you Meri, inside and out!! And I am beyond happy to have been apart of your special day, thank you THANK YOU!!!!
