Traverse City, Michigan has is destined to be the most beautiful, ethereal, and romantic location for a wedding. Nestled quaintly amongst the peninsula and piers of Lake Michigan, these sea-green waters have a magic that captures the love and passion of anyone lucky enough to behold them-and no more can this be true, than with the story of Becky & Dan, two souls acquainted and matched within this dreamland. Having met over a year ago, my bride and groom knew without a doubt, that they had each met their match in every single way. When I first met them for their engagement shoot last November, they appeared as if they had already been married for 50 years- they are each old souls-if you will. But the quiet looks Dan stole when Becky was turned away, and the sparkle that Becky held just when Dan was in sight, spoke of mountains of love and adoration for each other. Thus it was with eager anticipation, that I looked forward to this spring wedding in Traverse City knowing that this day would bring with it, all the joy, prosperity, peace, and passion that followed the lives of this adorable bride and groom. The day bloomed beautiful with the soft rays of newborn sun as I first met Rebecca, the picture of tranquility and quite peace as she prepared with a few select friends and family, to meet her husband-to-be for her spring wedding out on Traverse City’s Old Mission Peninsula. The day continued smoothly as they met hand-in-hand as husband and wife in the Catholic church out on the Peninsula, followed closely by Dan’s Coast Guard ceremonial “fly by.” Then it was on to the fun, as we toured around Old Mission Peninsula, visited Chanteau Chantal, Peninsula Cellars, and several other locations around Lake Michigan, including the State Theater in downtown Traverse City. By that time, we were ready to greet the rest of the wedding ceremonies as we headed to the beautiful and elegant reception hosted at Park Place Hotel in downtown TC.  Congratulations becky and Dan on your beautiful wedding and the amazing years that you will spend together. Thank you very much for including me in your lives-I look forward to seeing your family grow and blossom, and wish you all the love and happiness in the world.
