BEST DAY EVER!!!!!! No seriously, this wedding day down in Frakenmouth Michigan was one for the books!!! And it’s not just because my girl Makenzie chose gorgeous maroon and gold colors, decorated her house in gold glitter, and had a bouquet to die for….it’s because Makenzie and Thad are the best people ever. They so genuinely care about you. And as soon as you walk into a room, there’s hugging and laughter and squealing and you instantly feel as if you could be best friends!!! Throw in world-famous fried chicken and you have the best recipe for a timeless, joyful day! I thought long and hard about what I wanted to write about my friends, but what truly stands out is the moment Makenzie turned the corner, and walked down the aisle. Thad’s hands wrung around each other, nervously yet excitedly shaking in anticipation. His eyes shifted up and down, biting his lip in an effort to maintain control. The crowd shuffled and held their breath, as the music lowered to a soft melody and the lights dimmed to simply candlelight. And this was the moment. Right here, as Makenzie walked in all her bridal glory to the man that would stand by her, and become her husband, Thad lost it. It was the most precious, life-altering moment I have ever witnessed! And I love Makenzie and Thad all the more for it. They are a couple who truly GETS IT. They put their love, their support, their loyalty to each other and it is beyond inspirational!!!
