Weddings can simply not get better than this fabulous day in northern Michigan. The forecast was gloomy, the rain was pattering, but Ellen’s smile as she slipped on her dress, knowing that in just a few short minutes, she would be saying I Do to the love of her life, was simply inspiring. This magical day started off on her cottage on Lake Leelanau, surrounded by the local farm and cherry trees that have inspired their outdoor wedding. Her bridesmaids were adorned in luscious hews of teal with vibrant flowers by Hooper’s Garden, that only sought to bright and pop all of their wedding images. And despite the rain, everyone was laughing, smiling and enjoying themselves immensely, which was made more evident by the time we rolled into the reception tent on the top of Gallagher’s Farms. The word “beautiful” pales in comparison when seeing the gorgeous tent setup that Ellen and Layton had worked so hard to build – including a custom made driftwood chandelier! So much love and joy to you both Ellen & Layton!!!
