When I first met Cat and Laura, I knew that their wedding at the Homestead Resort in Glen Arbor Michigan was going to be unlike any other I have ever photographed. The reason? It was apparent, from the first kiss Laura placed on Cat’s shoulder, that these two, lived in a constant state of joy, by simply being with each other. Each laugh was genuine, each look shared was timeless, each smile crafted specifically just for them. It was simple yet elegant in every way, surrounded by friends who filled the room with excitement and joy. My favorite moment was their First Look, where I watched as Laura waited at the bottom of a wooden set of stairs, waiting at Cat transcended towards her, eyes lit up, waiting for the exact moment when they could finally see each other for the first time.
