I had been looking forward to this surprise proposal photography session for a few weeks – because when Anthony first called me up, asking if I would work with him to pull this idea off, his voice was chalk-full of excitement for the moment when he could ask Angie, if he would be his wife. His purely blissful tone when describing his vision for this moment, was more than enough to get me visibility joyous and expectant of this moment. Playing spy, I was able to spend a few minutes on the beach in Glen Arbor, waiting for the love birds to arrive. Knowing Anthony wanted to propose right away, I had to quickly stalk the couple, waiting for the expectant moment when Anthony dropped to his knee, and presented Angie with a custom designed ring, inlaid with her grandmother’s own diamond. Romance, does not even begin to describe it! We spent the next blissful hour touring around some of my favorite locations within the Sleeping Bear Dunes, taking beautiful photos and enjoying this first glimpse into their new journey! Congratulations Anthony and Angie!
