Dear Bride,

This message is for you. And it’s unlike anything I have ever written.

You see, I am a wedding photographer. I am YOUR wedding photographer. And while some might say “hey, you only take my pictures,” what they don’t realize is that being a wedding photographer, is only about 20% of what I truly do.

I am your wedding coordinator. Your planner. Your confident. Your representative. Your spokesperson. Your therapist. Your counselor. Your friend.

You see, my entire life is dedicated to being your wedding photographer. My business is my baby, and that means dedicating every waking moment (and most of my dreams) visualizing exactly how I can make this wedding experience better for you. You can most often finding me daydreaming about the next article to write, the next timeline I can sculpt, all to help you throughout every process and issue that might arise when visualizing your day.

And that means, being available 24/7. I answer phone calls on Saturday night at 11pm, when most people are out having a great time with friends. When others eat dinner with their families, I have been working since 5 am editing each and every single one of your photos, to ensure they are everything you dreamed of. When others go to a winery to celebrate the end of a work week, I have a smile on my face, knowing that I work about 16 hours a day, 7 days a week all year, so that others can be happy. And not just happy. But sublimely joyful, as you experience the best day of your lives.

When bridesmaids have a meltdown and pester you about their duties, I have advice. When moms are warring over the guest list and you get stuck in the middle, I play an advocate for your team, always! And this is what I love to do – to be your friend in any way, shape or form.

So yes, while I LOVE wedding photography and I do, truly more than you can imagine. What I truly am, is your support system.

This is the one thing brides do not realize about me, as your wedding photographer. I dedicate myself to making you happy in every way possible, from the moment you book to well past your wedding day. I exist to make you happy. And I dedicate my entire life to this experience.

I am a wedding photographer. But I am your friend first and foremost. And I will make your wedding day better than you can possibly imagine.
