I first met my wonderful future bride, Michele, at Crystal Mountain’s Bridal Expo in Traverse City MI last spring and little did I know, she is a riot and could possibly be, the funniest bride I have ever had. It should not have surprised me that Richard, her fiance, was equally her match in humor and personality. What do I mean…you might ask? “Stop talking, jack***, we are getting more wine.” OR “Honey, look out for the tree!” Response: “Yes, the tree that is two feet in front of me woman? I see it!” Now make no mistake, their laughter, bear hugs, and small sarcastic comments to each other was just evident to me, that they know how to have fun with each other and better yet, they love each quality that the other possesses. There was no fake smiles, no cheesy “oh baby,” and no awkwardness. Michele and Richard were refreshingly, exactly themselves and for that, I love them even more! Plus let’s be honest-they love wine (Chateau Chantal as a favorite-and what an amazing venue for vineyard photography for both weddings and engagements!) love Traverse CIty, and Richard especially, LOVES posing in the middle of the freezing tundra that is Lake Michigan. I am so amazingly excited to photograph their wedding at Crystal Mountain next year! Thanks Michele and Rudy for a wonderful and humorous time!
