Trash the Dress photography sessions are some of my absolute favorite portraits to capture, because it allows us to dream up fun and exciting ways to get your wedding dress down and dirty! But more importantly, it allows my brides the freedom to achieve all of those glamorous beach, or water photos that they see on pinterest, but can’t actually capture at their wedding. So it was with this amazing couple, Lauren and Tom, whose love of bike riding and beach lounging brought them to Traverse City for their Trash the Dress photography session. We started off with a few simple portraits because the real mud came into the picture. Finding a small stream tucked into the woods, we can a wonderful time splashing mud and water on each other for these amazing adventurous pictures! Then it was on to brave the cold waters of Lake Michigan for the finale! Thank you so much Lauren and Tom for a wonderful Trash the Dress photography session in northern Michigan!
