Chess boards, sunglasses, cowgirl boots, and casinos are rarely used in the same sentence. Actually, not many people would ever see a connection to these subjects. But after meeting Michael and Courtney for their vineyard wedding photography in Cedar Michigan, only one thing came to mind when staring out at the gang of friends and family who all had these 4 things in common – these guys (although they came all the way to Northern Michigan for their destination wedding) were to here to celebrate the cacophony of fun and love that surrounded this bride and groom, wherever they went! And trust me, I couldn’t move my camera fast enough to catch all of the unyielding laughter, dancing, and general gratitude for making the trip to celebrate with Courtney and Michael. Incredibly delightful and impossible to ignore, Courtney’s smile lit up the room, and Michael’s clear adoration and giving attitude towards his bride was enough to remind me of the true important details of the day – scratch all the flowers, the expensive details, the wedding planner – this day was about the most important aspect of any life – love. Congratulations Michael and Courtney, thank you so much for sharing your wedding with me.
