Carmen and Kenny’s wedding was one, that at Lux Light Photography, we were looking forward to all summer. Knowing Carmen as the sweet, amazing girl (and wedding coordinator) that she is, I knew that this day, her special day, would be beyond phenomenal. So many details go into planning this day, she was able to envision a gorgeous summer wedding in August, saying her vows to her best friend, alongside her friends and family traveling to Arcadia Bluffs Golf Course. Carmen had worked at this elegant venue for 9 years, it has always held a special place in her heart, and what better place to share in her joy, then here??!! Northern Michigan has brought them together in so many ways!

“The day of our proposal was October 12,2015. Kenny let me plan a getaway trip to traverse city. So we started the day by going up to Old Mission and visiting the historic light house since I’ve never been. We proceeded by going to our favorite winery, Bowers Harbor. We did a tasting and then decided to take a walk in the vines where he proposed. It was simply perfect! We finished the day by celebrating at Red Ginger.”
