Truly, one of my favorite spots that captures the essence of a Northern Michigan wedding is at Bay Harbor in Petoskey, Michigan. Wedding Photography is made easy and simple amongst the gorgeous view of Lake Michigan, Bay Harbor’s elegant aesthetics, and of course, the lovely town of Petoskey. Growing up in Petoskey, as my bride and groom did, they wanted to make sure that their wedding photography captured what they loved most about Lake Michigan and the surrounding area. That’s why when we planned out their day, it made sense to explore downtown Petoskey, as well as the parks and bays of the harbor, before heading on down to the reception that took place on the shores of Bay Harbor. Ali took great care in organizng and designing all the details for her reception tent, which was centered around the very popular nautical theme for this year’s wedding industry. I had a blast playing around with the colors, the unique center pieces, and the floral arrangements designed by Bay Harbor’s own wedding florist.
