You know when you meet someone and instantly you click? As in, we were probably best of friends in another life, where we binge-watched Friends episodes and ate as much delicious food as possible? Yeah…that was exactly how I felt as I stepped foot on Black Star Farms for Mindy and Ben’s outdoor vineyard wedding in Suttons Bay, Michigan. And it wasn’t just their genuine kindness, their ability to laugh harder than anyone I know, or their love for dogs (which rivaled my own obsession with my pups!) No. My excitement to be apart of their wedding day was more than that. I could barely contain my own smiles because, when you are lucky enough to work with a couple who you can tell, love each other more with each passing day, you instantly become inspired to live out your own life filled with love and joy. And meeting Ben and Mindy, does just that. You can feel it in the room! You can see it, with each look shared, each joke passed, and each touch. Their love is infectious, and you walk away from them feeling energized, like you are on top of the world (titanic style!)

I actually can’t decide on my favorite moment of the day!! Was it when Ben shouted “bullshit” during their wedding vows (seriously, that was epic and so freakin funny!) Was it their sweet puppy princess Bella (who I contemplated stealing away in my photography bag because she was so little?) Or was it Ben’s uncanny ability to be just like Chandler from friends, while Mindy is soooooo Monica?! I just can’t pick!!! There was never a dull moment. And even when the clouds rolled in and the rain started to pour, the energy was never dimmed!! How freakin amazing are these people??!!

I want to give a huge shoutout to our amazing vendor team, that helped bring this elegant yet rustic wedding together for Mindy and Ben!!
