From the moment that I walked in the door to Michelle and Jake’s wedding, I was immediately enveloped in what I can only describe as the best. day. ever!!!!! Seriously! I had never met Michelle before in person…but I was greeted by the biggest smile, a huge hug, and so many wonderful friends and family that I instantly felt apart of her tribe!! It was such an honor to be apart of this day, and I bounced from event to event with a pep in my step (despite the fact that I was dripping sweat for about 8 hours straight!!) We started off the day documenting her exquisite details, from the custom ring boxes to her calligraphy inspired wedding invitation from Minted!! And I couldn’t help but swoon right along with all seven of her bridesmaids when Michelle entered the room, bridal gown in toe, as this lovely lady became a bride!!!! There were more than a few happy tears shed as the veil was placed in the hair, the bouquets were gathered, and we took the final steps before walking down the aisle!!

We arrived at Castle Farms for her fairytale summer wedding, just as the gorgeous ceremony music began to play! Jake stood in front of family and friends, beaming, looking fabulously GQ in his navy blue tux. Michelle walked down the aisle towards the man hat has stood by her side for over eight years, and I couldn’t help but take a few moments to drink in the obvious happiness that glowed from everyone in attendance during this fantastic day!!

My favorite moment of the day was Michelle and Jake’s first dance. Castle Farms has beautiful ball room options for their brides…but as I walked into Michelle and Jake’s reception area, the candles were glowing, the florals on the tables lit the room up with color, and guests were already dancing and having a greta time, welcoming the new couple to the dance floor!! Never before have I seen such camaraderie from all of their guests, and the entire day passed by n such a quick blur that I couldn’t believe it when the day finally came to a close!!

Michelle & Jake – thank you soooooo so much for having me be apart of your fantastic day!! I can’t tell you how rare it is to find a couple that is so genuine, so thankful, and so freakin’ amazing that I feel like I could be your best friend!! Your guests and family were so kind to us, and treated us so superbly well that I am thankful to have met everyone there!!!
