This past weekend couldn’t have been more perfect for Abby and Matt’s summer wedding at Black Star Farms!! The day started off at Abby’s mom’s house with the girls getting ready together in their super adorable matching robes! Being able to get ready for her big day at her mom’s house was such a treat for Abby. You could definitely see how close the two are and just how special Abby is to her mother. We got to capture her mom putting on her jewelry for her and helping Abby with her dress! Everyone was having a blast just laughing and talking and even Roland, their 8-year-old Golden Doodle was in on the action!! Abby had put a bowtie on him just for the big day and he also had a sign that said: “I loved her first” which was super cute! Once the girls were officially ready, we all made our way over to Black Star Farms to get ready for the first look with her brother Chris!! It was one of the moments Abby had been looking most forward to on her big day and when he turned around and saw Abby completely ready, he immediately teared up. We were able to get such a unique and tender moment between the two of them, it was perfect! After that, we headed up to the ceremony to finally be able to watch the beautiful couple start the first day of the rest of their lives together. From where the ceremony was positioned you could even see Lake Michigan in the background!! Once the ceremony was done, we headed back down for dinner, dancing, and cake!! At dinner, Both Abby’s cousin and her brother Chris and Matts Childhood best friend all toasted to the beautiful couple and man did those three have awesome stories to tell!! Next, everybody headed over to Pegasus Barn where the rest of the night kicked off! There was dancing, cake, cookies, drinks, and so much more! After the newlywed’s first dance, we stole them away for some gorgeous golden hour photos and It was especially unique because we got to take photos of the two with a white horse just like the one Matt used to propose to Abby with!! This was absolutely perfect since Abby loves horses so much but obviously, nothing compares to how much she loves her new husband Matt though! Her favorite nickname for him is even Mr. Mooches! Once golden hour photos were done, we joined back up with everybody else and celebrated the rest of the big day with more dancing, singing, talking, playing and just overall enjoying the moment! What a vibrant and beautiful couple they were. Definitely one of my favorite weddings EVER!!!!
