This past weekend, We were at Shanahan’s Barn for a beautiful shabby and chic wedding! Emma’s family has always loved Charlevoix so being able to share this wonderful place with Michael on their wedding day was so meaningful to Emma and her family! When we arrived, the girls were already getting their hair and makeup done by Bliss Hair Salon and boy did they do a great job! Once everyone was done getting ready, AAA Charlevoix Taxi & airport shuttle drove the party to Shanahan’s barn, where the ceremony and reception took place. 307 Events not only did a wonderful job decorating the venue but creating stunning blush and grey floral bouquets and accents as well!! The ceremony was so amazing and not an eye was dry in the barn because of just how sweet Emma and Michaels vows to each other were. Emma’s vow to her new husband Michael was both playful and sweet having the guests laughing and tearing up at the same time. Once the ceremony was done, all of Emma and Michaels families headed outside for their lovely family photos to be taken. They all shared laughs, kisses and most of all love for one another and especially the newlywed couple! Once that was done, we all sat down for a wonderful dinner and amazing toasts. on of their cakes was even shaped like a fish!! After dinner we watched Emma and Michael share their first dance and once again, not a tear in the barn was dry! You could just see how well they mesh together and they were so happy dancing together!!! Once we were all finished with first dances and the floor was open to everyone else, we stole the bride and groom away for some adorable golden hour photos! They were so much fun and we could not stop laughing together and we captured the most perfect moments!! Emma and Michael’s wedding was definitely one for the books!!
