I drove into the elongated driveway of this country-garden styled venue and instantly, my draw dropped. I probably started driving too fact, in my eagerness to find a parking spot, unload my gear, and start photographing right away. The English Inn, located in Eaton Rapids Michigan, was such a dream wedding venue, and I couldn’t be more grateful than to have been apart of Ashley and Sam’s wedding here! Ashley knew that she wanted a small, intimate, garden-themed wedding for her and her guests. They had visited the venue previously and the moment she stepped foot on the property, she knew this would be the place for her and Sam to say their vows. As I walked inside, I was immediately greeted by the smell of vintage furniture, fresh flowers, and a small breeze that carried in the smell of the local river behind the property. It immediately reminded me of a scene out of a fairytale! Her vintage gown, delicate invitation, and gorgeous bridal details were beyond amazing!!! When I was able to go over to the groom’s cottage to meet Sam, I knew that I’d be in for a treat. Everyone was so kind and funny! When people weren’t laughing, they were busy helping him tie the perfect bowtie, or polish his black tux to perfection. My favorite moment of the day was their First Look, overlooking the garden scenes and old vines that covered the building. There was more laughter and smiles in those few minutes than there were any other emotion present. It was utterly fabulous!!!!
