Traveling for destination weddings is a very popular wedding trend these days-but traveling for engagement photography (all the way to Traverse City MI) was very exciting for my bride and groom to be-Jennifer and Michael! Just a quick overnight trip to downtown Traverse and up the Old Mission peninsula, but we all had a blast touring through the area, investigating haunted old buildings, walking through the vineyards of Chateau Chantal, and finally ending up at the famous Traverse City Lighthouse at the end of the peninsula. I am so very thankful to Jennifer and Michael for making the trip up here to Northern Michigan, as we had a blast on our quest for beautiful landscapes for their engagement pictures. Although I became more like the photo-nazi as I dragged them through the grass and mud (literally!) just for those perfect shots, we had a blast (and I am not even going to mention the hazardous “I almost set my pants on fire” episode we had!) Jennifer and Michael-thank you so very much for taking the time to come visit me here in TC, what a joy it was to share in the moment of your engagement, and to forsee all the jpy and thrills you will have in the future.
