Confession time-I sort of, kind of, ok I definitely turned into an engagement form of paparazzi while photographing this amazing engagement session in Glen Arbor MI with Ashley and Justin, my bride and groom to-be for next October! I couldn’t help it, I stammer in excuses, because they were adorable and every moment they shared with each other-their laughter, and…um…the rocks that they collected…was not only joyous, but contagious! My favorite moment of the day (besides the exuberant “Honey, I found a rock!) exclamations, and the delectable wedding wine from Cherry Republic, was at the very beginning while Ashley was changing wardrobes and I was chit-chatting with Justin. He confessed that they had been together for 2 years, which he prefaced didn’t seem long, but that since the moment he met her, he has not wanted to leave her side. And the best part was the evidence that was captured during this engagement photography shoot. Every time he looked at her, he smiled. When Ashley glanced over to her fiance, she giggled and lit up. Like I said, their passion was contagious and I am more than thrilled to get to photograph their excitement and passion for each other as the year goes on. Coupled with our love for Northern Michigan, it didn’t take long to realize that their wedding is going to be AMAZING! Congratulations guys, looking forward to the next year-and so many more to come!
