You know when the instant you walk into a wedding to meet everyone, and the bride comes rushing up the give you the biggest bear hug you’ve had this summer….that today was going to be spectacular! And truly, the rest of the day followed suite to this energetic greeting! Lux Light Bride Katelyn was simply glowing, celebrating with her mom, sister & bridesmaids the start of her forever. It wasn’t long before we were all getting dressed (let’s suite up Ted!!) and heading out to the bottom of the hill, where Katelyn would board a chairlift ride that took her to the top of the mountain ceremony, and to the start of her marriage! Katelyn & John had the honor of their brother officiating their wedding and truly, it was one of the most personal ceremonies that I had yet to hear! There is always something truly special, when the person marrying you, has known you so well for so long, and can truly give a testimony, to your two souls becoming one. And (sorry John) I couldn’t help but simply stare at the groom as Katelyn walked down the aisle, watching as his face simply melted the moment he saw his love in white!!!! It was my first favorite moment of the day….and while we are chatting about favorite moments, I was laughing as hard as anyone in the crowd, as Katelyn & John’s siblings gave their toasts at the reception. I’m not going to repeat things verbatim (although saying f**k on my website would be the first) but let’s just say that by the end of speeches, we were all rolling!!!! And to end things, a quite walk on the beach for sunset was the final touch on this magical day. To Katelyn & John….I am awed and humbled to have been apart of this day. It is so evident to me, how much you have touched the lives of those around you, just as you have touched mine!!!! We love you!!!
