It still amazes me how much I love my job as a wedding photographer in Northern Michigan, specifically in my home region of Traverse City. It allows me to meet so many new people each week, and to share in the beginning and exploration of one of the most memorable moments in a couple’s life. As one of the first weddings of the season, this day started out with a little bit of warming up (and I don’t mean weather wise, since it was 106 degrees outside!) and a little mixture of playing around with the adorable ring-bearers. Heather and Dan planned their wedding amongst the beautiful waters of Lake Michigan in the Northern regions of Traverse City. Nestled amongst the serenity of a small river, my bride and groom made their quiet vows to each other amongst close friends and family, and of course their adorable son. And that’s when the party started-bring on the cheers! I almost couldn’t direct everyone amongst the laughing, suspender-pulling, and back-riding that occurred between the wedding and the reception! All you need to do is look at the pictures and it can explain our adventure much more than I can. Enjoy everyone!
