Downtown Traverse City, Michigan is a great location for different venues and styles of wedding photography. Becky, Dan, and I had a fun time exploring amongst the runes of the Old Hospital, a preserved brick community that is an ideal place to capture the vintage glam style that we were looking for. Becky and Dan met last January and it wasn’t long before both realized that they were a perfect match. By June, Dan had already selected a gorgeous ring setting for his bride-to-be and by July, he popped the question amongst an elaborate Cost-Guard rescue ruse, a driveway full of candles, and a homemade meal for the love of his life in their new home. Photographing this couple was so easy and fun! It felt like catching up with old friends as we drove around the harbor and vineyards of Traverse City looking for the perfect wedding and engagement photography spots. The day ended perfectly-with a glass of wine and an hour of chatting in their warm home with their lovable pup. Thank you-Becky and Dan-for an amazing day and putting up with the muddy shoreline, sinking sand past the ankles, and sitting amongst the old runes of our amazing town of Traverse.
